Gary Daniel Bio

I started in Country Music back in the 1960’s and was a member of the old Tennessee Valley Barn Dance in Knoxville Tennessee, USA, for approx. 13 years.  I played in Knoxville and Nashville and all over Tennessee and the south east of the USA.

I resigned from country music in the early 1980’s for personal reasons.

I moved to Australia in 2001 and decided 3 years ago to get back into country music here in Australia. It has been a great experience and I’m enjoying every minute of it.
I have released two albums, “This One’s for you” and “My Kinda Country”, the latter of which has just been released June 2016.

Festivals I’ve been part of:
Tamworth Country Music Festivals 2014 and 2015
Mildura Country Music Festival in 2013 and again in 2015.
Lameroo Festival 3 times (Including2016)
Cowell Ute Muster and Country Music Festival in 2015 Port Pirie Country Music Festival.

I have also played as a single artist in pubs, clubs and for private functions throughout South Australia and Victoria.

My band, TRU COUNTRY and I have played at most of the country music clubs through-out South Australia and are planning to expand into other states.
We concentrate on promoting and preserving the great Traditional Country Music.
