Dennis McNamara Dennis began his career as a resident musician at the South Sydney Junior Leagues Club, a residency which lasted three years. He left to join the internationally renowned, multi-award winning show band called The Zips, during which time he toured with Del Shannon, Diana Trask, Tina Turner, Judy Stone and others. Dennis was nominated in Tamworth for Best New Talent and scored highly in the categories of Male Vocalist of the Year and Best Composition of the Year. Dennis is a student of the great pop singers, particularly Neil Diamond. Dennis has a voice that is regularly described as deep, mature and impressive and lends itself beautifully to Diamond's music. He recently toured New Zealand and Southern Australia presenting the 'Neil Diamond Tribute Show'. At home with Diamond, or any of the greats of country or pop, Dennis is impressive.
