Robert James sings the “Golden Oldies”, songs you’ve not heard for years, not to mention music that has Line Dancers, wearing out the soles of their “boots”!

Robert James has been asked if he plans to record some of his own songs, in the future; yes, but at the moment he enjoys singing the old standards. And I quote the great song writer Willie Nelson, when releasing his latest CD said  “I enjoy doing “standards” because you know they’re great songs.”

Robert James has enjoyed performing for lovers of country music at a variety of venues in the Barossa Valley, such as Lyndoch Hotel Red Room, Weintal Hotel-Resort, and 18 months as House Band at the Barossa Junction Hotel-Resort and Vintage Car Museum, Line Dancers from Waikerie to Adelaide and recently for The National Cadillac Club of Australia at the Peter Lehmann Winery “Redemption Cellar”.

Robert James has also done “walk-ups” at the Barossa Country Music Club,  Gawler Country Music Club and as  guest at Open Country. He would be delighted to be invited to perform at other Country Music Clubs and Line Dancing Clubs.

Able to produce a Live Band Sound, Robert James’ musical talent allows him to play rhythm and lead guitar, whilst playing “bass rhythm machine” with his foot. Not to mention singing lead and background vocals, covering a wide variety of styles of songs, all at the same time.

Robert James is also happy to “take requests” from the audience of their favourite songs, and with a repertoire of 2800 songs he’s bound to know it.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.

Since arriving in Australia Robert James has recorded six CD’s – the first four CDs recorded live, these are available for sale at a bargain price of  $15 each plus shipping & handling of  $5.00.
