Tom Routledge

Tom was born and raised in Adelaide.

He moved his family to Pt Lincoln due to work commitments in the 70s.

He started singing at pubs and festivals until another work move to Wangaratta,Victoria in the 80s.

It is in north-east Victoria that Tom is best known.

Tom is a regular artist at Tooleybuc Roundup,the Barham Stampede, Shepparton,Benella, Wangaratta,Albury, Wagga and venues along the River Murray.

Tom started singing songs of the sixties including Gene Pitney, Marty Robbins, Roy Orbison and enjoyed immediate success.

These artists still feature in his shows. In those days,country was interwoven with pop and Tom developed a deep love of country performers such as Merle Haggard, Dwight Yoakham, Charlie Pride and the Mavericks amongst others.

Tom has been called "that tall guy that makes everyone dance".

The advent of line dancing excited Tom, as when he performs,the dance floor is packed.Thats the way he likes it.Music with a beat is for dancing, not just listening.
