Julia Williams

Julia has been in the music industry for quite a few years having worked in 60/40 cabaret bands.

In the early nineties she joined a theatre group performing in live shows then went on to join a Maori culture group for three years, which included her daughters and started performing at corporate shows with the group.

Julia then joined a large group who were offering stage shows of well known artists, this was when Julia became known on the scene for her Patsy Cline renditions.

In the late nineties she met Rob Doughety and with Anna on keyboards they formed the original well known Adelaide band called "Good Company" and for three years enjoyed great popularity on the Adelaide circuit.

In 2000 Julia and Rob entered the Port Pirie country music festival, winning best duo and Julia won multi awards in traditional country, golden oldies and received the award for top over all female singer which she says was the highlight of her career, and she will treasure for ever. In 2001 she went to Barmera won the golden oldies and got second in female.

Julia left Good Company and joined an Italian band called "The Instyles" and is still performing with them in the Italian community.

Julia has recently teamed up with Rob again as a duo and with his encouragement has started doing floor shows of country women of course Patsy Cline is highlighted also Tammy Wynette and Connie Francis.

The popular Adelaide band Good Company is now backing Julia for these shows. Anyone wishing to hire them can be assured of a great show.
