Guido Davis is a singer/soundman from Wentworth, NSW.

He was a public servant during the day.

Guido is a regular at Mildura every year. He was at Blanchetown in 2004 and will be there again in 2005.

He has also been seen and heard at the Hilton Hotel, Hilton, the Southern Country Music Club and at Barmera.

Often Guido travells with Chooka Williams.

He often sings his interesting version of "The Green Green Grass of Home"!

"Living in a small country town (Wentworth NSW) and being a busy married man I do a lot of my singing for charities and other good causes which is just a great excuse to sing. The isolation has prevented me from joining any bands although I get together with friends to sing at weddings parties and other gigs around the area.

I started playing guitar and singing when I was 19 and my first love is country ballads, although they can't be played all night at gigs I still like to slip one in now and then.

I have been involved with the Sunraysia Country Music Club in Mildura for many years, travelling the 90k round trip twice a month for practice and a show. I like to see kids enjoy themselves on stage. Our club has seen many kids go on to full time singing careers and there is still a lot of young talent in the club.

I sing because I like it and I always have a good time especially when I have the opportunity to sing with a band. The joy of seeing people dancing or singing along is a big part of my motivation.
