"Christine has worked tirelessly as a committee member and festival volunteer for more years than she would care to remember. As a country music lover she joined the committee to help with the work load and has held positions over the years from volunteer committee member to executive committee as treasurer and secretary. In 2005 Christine became a life member of the festival and since her resignation from the committee she has continued to help out every year.

For many years now she has been the water girl at the SA Hall of Fame inductions ceremony and is a volunteer for Berri Barmera Council at Rocky's Hall of Fame.

A valued member of the community, we are proud to induct Christine Wutke into the Maple Avenue of Honour in 2006."
