The voice of MURRAY MAC continues to shine through some tough competition. His strong dynamic sound has won countless Awards from South Australia to Victoria in New South Wales and on into Tamworth where he appears Annually at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. This versatile vocalist has earned the affection of fans all around Australia where he regularly shares centre stage with names such as:
James Blundell / Adam Harvey / Darcy LeYear / the Kernighans and many more MURRAY MAC gives powerful performances to a multitude of songs from Ballads / Country Rock / Texas Swing and a massive 60 / 40 repertoire.

1999 saw MURRAY become the proud recipient of the South Australian Industry Award for Service and Dedication to Country Music.

He recorded his debut album NOW & THEN in 2000 at Big Wheel Recording Studio in Tamworth. Sales made it necessary for a second album.

He was inducted into the HANDS of FAME in 2001. MURRAY and went on to become the Vice President of the South Australian Country Music Festival held annually over 10 days every June in the South Australian Riverland.

MURRAY MAC is also well known for his hard work encouraging Young and New Talent in the Industry and takes every opportunity to promote the youth of Australia therefore playing a Major role in forging many careers.

2002 saw Murray record his second album " Little Bit of Love ? Little Bit of Honky Tonk" as well as support act for Adam Harvey and ?at Mungerannie for the Outback Cattle Drive Concerts.

Along with his band TRUE GRIT he has remained high on the ladder of most sought after groups and as a Solo Artist with a full backing sound he keeps busy travelling far and wide doing what he does best... Entertaining the people... MURRAY MAC has his heart and soul in country music and with his ability and tremendous popularity it wont end there....
